ALARM CLOCK QUESTIONS
Can I change the default Alarm Times?
Yes. The default alarm times can be changed to any specific time that works best for your current needs.

You can even turn on or off any of the alarms if you need fewer alarms than the clock defaults to.
Can I turn off some or all of the Alarms?
Yes. Each of the daily alarms can be turned on or off during the set mode. A digital indicator on the front of the LCD display shows which of the four alarms is currently turned on. Also, all alarms can be temporarily turned off for vacation or away mode by a slide switch on the back of the clock.

To toggle on or off any of the alarms, please read the following carefully.
When you set an alarm, you will set the current hour with the "+" button, then press the green set advance button. Next you set the minute with the "+" button and then press the green set advance button. The last step is to turn on or off with the "+" button. Each press of the "+" will toggle the alarm on or off. That last step is the one most often forgotten before pressing the blue Alarm Check button.
How long do the Alarms sound?
If I am not home, will the alarms run my batteries dead?

If after 1 minute of alarming, and the "ALARM ACKNOWLEDGE" button has not been pressed, the alarm will go silent for 3 minutes. Then sound again for 1 minute, followed by 3 minutes of silence. This will repeat until the "ALARM ACKNOWLEDGED" button is pressed or until 1 full hour has passed.
How much time is allotted for each recording on the Your Minder Clock?
Each of the six alarms can record up to 10 seconds of audio.
My clock face is flashing. What does that mean?
If the clock face is flashing, it means the power source is ineffective.
This either means the batteries are dying or the adapter is not working
properly. If you are using batteries, remove them and replace with
fresh. If using an adapter, make sure it is the correct adapter for the
clock (especially if purchased somewhere other than
medcentersystems.com), make sure it is plugged into a working outlet
properly and make sure the adapter is correctly plugged into the back of
the clock. If you are still having problems, remove the adapter and the
batteries, let the clock sit for 5-10 minutes to reset the electronics
and then reinstall fresh batteries and/or move the adapter to another
outlet to test.
My clock is no longer working. What do I do?
First, make sure the swtich on the back of the clock is set to either "Voice" or "Beep".
If you are using batteries, remove them and replace with fresh. If using an adapter, make sure it is the correct adapter for the clock (especially if purchased somewhere other than medcentersystems.com), make sure it is plugged into a working outlet properly and make sure the adapter is correctly plugged into the back of the clock. If you are still having problems, remove the adapter and the batteries, let the clock sit for 5-10 minutes to reset the electronics and then reinstall fresh batteries and/or move the adapter to another outlet to test. If the clock stops working while you are using the power adapter, it is possible that the clock is being affected by power surges in your home's electric. If the clock stops working while plugged into an adapter, try plugging the power adapter into a surge protector.
