"I love this thing," Barbara told us. "I take medication too and not always, but once in a while I forget. I couldn't forget anything with (the MedCenter System)." Barbara added, "I have an elderly mother and I'm going to get one of these for her. It's great for older people who have trouble remembering, especially when they have so many pills to take for this and that." The MedCenter System can make a concrete, immediate difference in your health and wellbeing, and for that reason, it's well worth the $69.95 price tag."

Prescription compliance is plaguing the United States.  Individuals of all ages have difficulty taking one prescription exactly as prescribed by their physician.  They often miss a dose, double the dose, or fail to finish the regimen.  Not taking prescriptions as directed can have a devastating effect on our health and our financial well being.  As we age, complying with our medical regimen becomes more difficult due to the increased number of prescriptions we encounter.  The MedCenter is a great assistant in meeting our prescription regimen.  Once a month, the MedCenter is filled with the tablets and capsules required for that month’s schedule.  The MedCenter reminds the patient of when to take their next dose through the use of an alarm clock.  The alarm clock continues to sound until the patient takes that dose and then resets for the next scheduled dose.  When compared to the health and financial consequences of prescription non-compliance, the MedCenter provides an invaluable advantage.

I have set up the MedCenter System alarm.  It works wonders.  It is simply great.  I had been having date and day orienting problems, this helps tremendously.  It keeps me oriented.  It keeps me oriented to next dose, too.  It has a TRAVELLING clock and voice system, which carries the alarm and timing and orienting .. IT IS SIMPLY WONDERFUL.
I have had a lot of fun startling people, when my sports bag, or pocket starts talking to them.  It is really fun, and useful. - THANK YOU!!!!

Would Make an Excellent Gift!, November 10, 2007
By Hockey Chick
My dad has the Med Center System. Until he got it, I used to worry all the time about whether he was taking his medications properly. When visiting him, I would dread hearing him ask my mom if he had taken his afternoon pills yet. Sometimes, she would remember that he had, other times they would try to reconstruct the afternoon or count his remaining pills to figure it out. Very scary, considering that his life depends on taking his medications properly. Now, he never forgets! The Med Center reminds him by clearly speaking the date/time and which meds he needs to take..... morning (breakfast), noon (lunch), evening (supper), night(bedtime). The clock will continue to remind him until he takes his pills and presses the acknowledge button. My dad is hard of hearing, but the Med Center has two volume settings and one of them is just right for him. Each day of the month has its own four-section pillbox clearly labeled with the date and the time of day the pills need to be taken. My dad only takes his meds 3 times each day, but it is possible to set the Med Center to remind someone to take meds once, twice, three or even four times a day. IMHO, the Med Center would make a WONDERFUL gift for someone you care about who takes pills or vitamins daily.

Great Buy!, October 19, 2007

...it is also useful for elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment(MCI) or any memory issues. I purchased this system for my mother, after researching its competition. For this price, there is nothing better. They thought of almost everything! It works beautifully, with up to 4 voice alarms, which can be programmed (or even turned off individually, as needed). It even announces the date and time. Having the color coded ends that indicate which days have been taken and completed (red), and which have not (green) is a stroke of genius. I also like the fact that the batteries in the alarm box are double A, rather than some obscure type which can be harder to come by. This system is easy to set up and understand, simple to use and has a terrific price point. I recommend it to anyone who has loved ones with MCI or even certain types of dementia.

Great Organizer and reminder, May 10, 2008
By Carolyn C. Stoner "TorieCat" (USA)
"I really recommend this for all of us (and we know who we are) who are too lazy to fill up the weekly containers. Once a month takes longer but it is done just once....Love it. A little pricey, but worth it."

Wonderful Solution, April 27, 2008
By Visa
"I would recommend this product to anyone that takes medications every day! It is so easy to use, one even comes with an alarm to remind you. I don't need the alarm yet, but when I do, I can buy it as an "add-on". Don't hesitate to buy this."

Works Great!, April 5, 2008
By Sandy (Florida)
"I bought this for my father-in-law who is on many prescription drugs. He is 82 and his wife 80, they were having trouble keeping up with all his prescriptions and times they were to be taken. I set it up for them once a month and they are comfortable that he is taking what he is suppose to when he is suppose to. I would recommend this to any one taking several prescriptions, you can also order the reminder clock that will tell you when it's time to take your pills. Great product."

great organizational tool!, February 10, 2008
By Flora L. Stover "NikonNut" (Los Angeles, CA)
"I got this for my dad who takes several medications each day. My mom was always having to sort them and make sure he took the correct ones a week at a time. After seeing her do this and become frustrated, I purchased this and now she just pulls out the day and my dad can take them on his own. She only has to refill this once a month! It's great!"

MedCenter a great product for older people, July 23, 2008
By B. Burt (Boulder, Co USA)
"My mother was not taking her pills on a regular basis with a standard daily pill box for a.m. and p.m. The MedCenter is just annoying enough to get her attention and remind her to take her medications, without being as intrusive as having a nurse's aide come to her apartment. She can hear it from anywhere in her living space, and it even wakes her if she's napping. It's right next to her sink (handy to water), and while it doesn't guarantee that she takes her meds, she's doing much better with the regular reminders. Her neighbor recently asked where I'd gotten it, and thinks it might be a good solution for him. I like having the MedCenter "nag" her twice a day instead of me doing the nagging!"

Great Solution for Anyone who takes Medication, July 8, 2008
- C. Stone (South Carolina)
"I purchased this for my elderly mother who was forgetting to take her medicine at least once every day. I could not find anything to help her until I decided to try this. It is the solution to my problem. The voice alarm is loud enough she can hear it even if she is not in the same room. If she does not respond immediately it will repeat the alarm about every 5 minutes until she acknowledges it. The date is given as part of the alarm so she knows which pill box to use. The pill boxes are large enough to hold all of her medications. The clock and alarm were easy for me to set with 4 seperate alarms you can use or turn off if you don't need them all. It has large colored buttons for alarm acknowledge to help her know which button to push. This has been the solution to my problem. I highly recommend this item to anyone of any age who has trouble remembering to take their medication."

MedCenter System Talking Monthly Pill Reminder & Organizer, March 18, 2008
By Jacqueline (Queens, New York)
"This product is phenomenal. I purchased it for my grandmother because it is difficult for her to remember when to take all of her medication. After the initial set-up, and showing my reluctant grandmother how it worked, she too found it very simply and reliable. She loved that if she dozed off, the alarm would still ring at its specified time. AND that the machine continued talking to her until she took her pill. That little reminder made her much more relaxed. It was also a relief for me because I knew she was taking the correct pill dosage at the proper time. One can not put a price on piece of mind- especially with an elderly loved one!
Not only was the product delivered quickly and efficiently, but the customer service department (person with whom I communicated via email - Travis Besecker) was a pleasure. He assisted me in all my inquiries and responded promptly.
I can not be more pleased with this product or the person with whom I spoke. I highly recommend this machine, not only for its color coded boxes, talking and pill registration system, or the peace of mind I received, but most of all, for the personal service. It is wonderful to know that there are people in the business world who not only sell a solid product, but take time to respond and personally help the people who purchased it."

Great tool for organizing and reminding to take medicine, March 3, 2008
By L. Freeman (Tacoma, Washington)
"This medicine organizer is a great tool. It holds medicines for an entire month, up to four doses per day. The talking reminder speaks clearly and repeats until the person presses a button to acknowledge it. My mother laughs everytime she hears it."

Indispensable! No pun intended..., January 25, 2008
By Suzy M "Avid Reader" (United States)
"I am older, and disabled, and was having a hard time with my meds. I couldn't remember if I had taken them already or not, so I missed a lot of doses because I was afraid to overdose. I bought this unit three months ago, and I haven't missed a dose since. The audio reminder will repeat until you press the acknowledge button, in short increments. If you happen to be away when a dose is due, it will still remind you when you return. It's very persistant! Also loud enough for someone that is hard of hearing. I use the lowest volume, and it's loud enough. I also like that since I fill a months worth at a time, I am aware ahead of time if I need to renew a prescription.
It's pricey, but worth every penny! If you have an older family member that needs help remembering this product is perfect!"

Outstanding product, December 20, 2007
By Paul E. Borror "EdwardB" (Michigan)
"We purchased this item for my wife who recently had transplant surgery. She has a number of meds which must be taken at precise time throughout the day. This product works perfectly to organize her meds, and announce loudly each time meds need to be taken. It's relatively compact sitting on the counter in the kitchen, holding up to a month of meds. We also like the visual red/green cues. The timer and alarms are easy to program, and the buttons on top very clear to their purpose. The only very minor drawback is that the pill compartments are relatively small -- smaller than the previous pill organizer she had. Her 9:00 AM meds just fit. But for us it's fine. Really a very well designed product."

Best Buy Ever, December 18, 2007
By Mary L. Morris-Burke "Silver Fox" (Ridgecrest, CA United States)
"I cannot tell you what a godsend the MedcenterSystem Talking Monitor Pill Reminder and Organizer has been to me. I am presently involved in a five year study of Macular Degeneration at UCLA. I was finding it difficult to remember to take my pills on time and because this is in my opinion, a very important study, I wanted to do my very best in participating.
Since receiving the Medcenter System, I have not missed taking medications on time. Although it takes a little time to fill it each month, the ease of pill taking from then on makes the extra time well worth it.
I highly recommend this system to anyone who needs to take pills on time and more than once a day."
